The first annual Grand Rapids Zine Festival celebrating self-publishing with a festival of exhibitors, readings, and workshops. Free and all ages!
-Our Safer Space Policy:
Grand Rapids Zine Fest is organized to create and uphold a space that is not ruled by commercial interests, publishing giants, sexist, racist, ageist, ableist, and/or trans*/homophobic individuals. It is a collectively shared and generative space wherein all peoples involved are respected and cared for. For these, and a number of other reasons, GRZF will not tolerate zinesters, zines, or attendees who promote what we are working against.

55 days until the first GRzinefest! Here a few important updates from the organizers:
-Table fees are due by July 10th! If you haven’t paid yet, your spot will open up for those on the waiting list on July 11th.
-As of now we’ve reached our table capacity. If you would like to be put on the waiting list, please send a message here or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
-Also, please contact us if you’re interested in reading or volunteering!
GR Zine Fest registration has been up and running! It will be in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, Saturday August 24th, 2013.
Are you are interested in tabling, volunteering, or holding a workshop? (And please, think about getting a half table instead of a full—our half tables are really quite spacious!) Running a workshop gets you 50% off your tabling fee!
You can contact me here, or via my personal Tumblr for questions.
I can also send you/your distro a personal message on Tumblr or Facebook with more details. In that case, respond to this post or send me a message please!
If you know of a zinester or distro that I should contact, please let me know! It’s our first year, and I’m doing my best to reach out to as many people as possible.
You can register for GR Zine fest here.
Our Facebook page is here.
There is very limited space left! If you plan to register, please choose a halfsize table (they’re still 3.75’ by 32”)!
